I'm currently writing this at 12:17 AM after a conversation me and a friend had.
Said friend will have no idea I wrote this about them until I push this entry to actually get served with the blog helper maker (might actually take weeks lol), and I feel like thats part of the fun.
They'll get to go back and relive the conversation we had, or don't, but they'll at least think about it now..?
It really wasn't anything significant, but it did make me remember the one thing I liked about Discord, it had something I would struggle to have, permanence.
Even if I backed up, I could never reasonably have the storage space to back up media, however, theres one thing that I can backup no matter what, text.
Text isn't very expensive to backup, and this conversation has taught me the importance of backing things up, how I may want to look back on something that seemed insignificant at the time.
They might never notice it until they read this blog post, however, I do intend to work on automatic backup of texts in the room hopefully daily, so if another fancy warning text does show up, history isn't lost.
